    Thumb Hole?

    Please someone settle this:

    Bolt action with a thumb Hole stock. OK to hunt in California? Yes or no. I cannot find an answer on the CA fish and game site.

    Yes. Only comes into play on semi autos due to the chance of being an assault weapon.

      Any stock that is legal on a certain gun can be used for hunting in CA.

          My best varmint rifle is a thumb hole stock
          The best part of hunting and fishing was the thinking about going and the talking about it after you got back
