When is the Ban in affect for hunting with Lead for whole state?

Phased over 5 years so it could start as early as next year if DFW develops a plan in time... but I doubt you'll see any effect until later in the year if at all.
My guess is that whenever they do start, it will probably be upland game first since steel shot is already available....Ugh!! Can't wait for the first dove opener and getting peppered by steel...

The DFG is charged with implementing the total phasing out of lead for hunting by 2019- BUT, remember, they were against the ban, and even sent a letter to Gov Moonbeam urging him no to sing he bill into law. I don't think hey are in any hurry to move on the ban over the next few hunting seasons. Wait and see how this plays out. I think both the NRA and the CalGuns foundation are working on legal action against this new law.1A - 2A = -1A

Toby, I understand what you are saying, but for those of us upland hunters who hunt primarily small game locally, we really are screwed if this goes into effect. I don't want to have to go to AZ or Nevada to hunt quail or rabbit when I can hunt them 3 miles from my house. We need to fight his BS.1A - 2A = -1A

Some warden org, submitted the letter against. The Commission will be the one to draw plans for implementation. The Commission is mostly libtard bureaucrats. They live for this stuff.
