    Game carts: experience and recommendations?

    One wheel?

Two wheel? Fore and aft or side by side?

What do you intend to haul and what type of hunting? Is this your Bug Out vehicle idea?

Some use carts for ducks out at refuges.

What did you have in mind as far as the game you want to pursue?

I agree with 180 but I'm not young anymore 47 years young and still can pack out 100lbs per load all day long......as long as there is a cold IPA at the truck.

I also have water, food and warm clothing/sleeping gear at the truck incase it's late and need to make the next haul the following day. One elk hunt we shot 3 elk in the afternoon after deboning all the meat we stored the meat in plastic bags then submerged them in a deep pool in a cold creek. It kept the meat cold and out of the bears smell factory. The next day after a good nights sleep the 2-3 trips about 4 miles RT we made was a breeze.

I used a two wheel (side by side) game cart last year and it proved more trouble than it was worth. Used a black plastic sled this year and it proved to be nice, though it hung up in low brush. The sled has the added bonus of keeping your truck a bit cleaner if you keep your animal in it while transporting. Ultimately anything wide that must be pushed or pulled will have that problem. The sled was nicer because it slid over snow and mud instead of getting bogged down in it. Though if you drag it on rocky roads or trails you'll eat through it.

              Game carts: experience and recommendations?

I don't have any experience with carts, i have a good pack and i love packing out animals alone. Lol. I suppose they could be useful depending on the terrain though. Good luck.

Bass Pro has this one on sale for $79.97. I was thinking of getting one for hauling pigs out of FHL. I'm tired of dragging them out by myself, and can never seem to find someone to go hunting with me.

Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

                      Phbbbbbt!

No, I thought the picture I included gave the application reasonably well. lewdogg21 got it right away.

I was wondering about a powered-vehicle alternative for 2 old folks. Think 'refugee'.

Given $60 off (probably covers the shipping) that one has seemed pretty reasonable as I was searching today.

Wasn't planning to navigate through brush or rough country.
