Me? Why? I'm a huge fan of this forum, and have stated before that I find taperx to be a valuable resource on calguns. What I think is silly is a person threatening to leave a online forum unless he can put someone on a ingnore list. Oh well what do I know. Just bored this morning.

Does the site have a page with a mission statement? I've surfed around it, but it is large and did not find it after a cursory search.

Does the site have a list of its legislative and courtroom successes? Again, there are many bits here and there, but I could not find a summary page.

It appears that the site excels at grassroots organization. The success of the grassroots effort was most evident in the recent claim of delivery of 65K anti-SB374 letters.

There are ample opportunities to donate to the various subsets of CalGuns and multiple "donate" buttons on every page. Is there a public accounting of income and expenses? or is that private?

While both "hunting" and "self-defense" were two of the purposes the founders must have considered when they penned the Bill of Rights' RKBA statement, I get the feeling that the hunt forum here is a tedious afterthought, one that is meant to milk membership, legitimacy, and donations to the CalGun cause.

Hunt forums are by their nature contentious. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts. Allowing chuckleheads to run rampant is always humurous. You can't cure stupid. But debunking the crap means starting at less than zero and I for one enjoy it when a guy like Taper calls out a score of no-nothings who can only hope to hunt from their keyboard. Removing that element of the conversation, where someone brings the ubiquitous asshats back to ground, just makes this place boring to boot. There is only so much humor in stupidity and it occasionally grows tedious. It should be clear to all, anyone with a functioning brain anyway, that this is private property where no arguments using big boy words are allowed.

Give the corbon DPX 62 grain a try in your mini. I used them to get a pig a few months ago and they performed exactly as they said they would.



Found that one just under the skin on the opposite side just in front of the hip.
