    Vandenberg huntimg

Anyone hunted Vandenberg lately? Any ideas where the hogs are? I know the southern area closed from boathouse to Jalama.

I'm at Pendleton and am looking to hunt some pigs, I've never hunted at VAFB but have heard good things. not trying to steal the thread but is making the trip to VAFB worth it? I guess i would need to make a weekend of it

If you're on CamPen you can go to the Sportsman Club at the Game Wardens Office & they'll give you details on the hunting at VAFB.

I've never hunted VAFB, the one time I was going to they shut it down for non DOD card holders. I'm military & was going to bring my uncle so we went elsewhere.

I hear the pig are so bad that the Wardens will drive you to their locations so you can take them out.

It's huge. I hope they open south area before deer. Lots of quail. Haven't been for 3 months.

Man, I wish I joined the military after all. If you guys need a hand let me know. I'm always at Jalama camping. I have a truck and gas money if needed.

Have to be active military or retired military or dod working on base . These personnel can bring one guest. Was closed because of CO for a while.

They just had a rocket launch so many areas were closed and I just heard they're prepping for another launch soon.

I've been trying to go for the last month and a half but the closures and my work schedule have been keeping me out.

I called a few months back & they changed the policy to allow DOD card holders to bring one civilian guest.

One guest per authorized hunter. My hunting partner is retired army. We have to turn in our game report card and get new license.
