Good deal for the OP. I take it you are doing rifle? Is this a family trip? Got any past pics? I love Elk hunting but won't be going this year again.

2 separate trips. We go to Alaska every year. Found out how to do it on the cheap. Stay at hostels , take our own gear to fish rivers and use air miles. No need to pay 2 grand for 3 days fishing and 4 nights lodging. Plus airfare. Got set up as approved shipper on Alaska Airlines ship fish back for 40 cents a pound and take our own vacuum sealers. For elk we set up wall tent and take quads .

My father is going back to Alaska doing about the same thing this year. Used his air miles to get a ticket for like $150 and will stay with a buddy in his travel van and fish for reds on a fly. He said it's going to cost him like $650 for a week up there. I don't know if that includes a big can of bear spray, lol.

We fish the Kenai for reds and a lot of people carry shotguns. My buddy from Anchorage is taking us to some secret spot and said to get bear spray. This year I'm taking my model 29 in 44 mag with 260 gr, jfp's and bear spray. 5 for the bear and 1 for the nearest person so I can run away. (lol) Going on boat at 4 am tomorrow to chase white sea bass out of Oxnard.
