    Doe tag, filled

    Deer #2 fell to my Winchester Friday evening. Just a doe, and a smallish one at that. But a nice pile of meat for the freezer.

              Nah.... around here, every market has pork or beef fat for that purpose. Lot's of hunters in these parts.

              Besides - I like to wrap the dove breasts in bacon and grill them. Add some wild rice and an ice cold beer, and it is hard to beat as a dinner.

                  Yeah - between this doe and that huge buck I shot a couple of weeks ago, the freezer is damn near full........ and I have four more tags in my pocket.
