    Turkey Hunt

    Hi all members,
I hae been a member at this forum for long time, and now I am thinking of Turkey Hunt. But have no idea where to start. I have check on Fish and Wildlife web site and see the wild turkey season is from 11/8 to 12/7, and it require hunting license. I have the shotgun it Benelli m2. But I have questions.
1 what else do I need
2 where do members recommend to hunt at?
    Thank You.

    Head to toe camouflage.
    Turkey choke,
    Suitable ammunition for the range. I like the Hevi-shot 5, 6 & 7 blend but, it's like $10 a shot.
Scope, iron sights or red dot
Pattern your loads at 20 and 40 yards.
A simple box call is easy to use.

I can't help you on the where, I hunt in Kentucky

Where depends on where you are; eastern slope Sierra foothills Nat'l Forrest land up here has some good opportunities.

        Fall hunting is all
ambush hunting they are not goon’d up on hens like the spring and they won’t be gobbling . So calls are not very helpful . Drive around till you find one and put on a stalk .
