    Anyone hunt deer in Zone D-14

    I hunt dove and quail in muliple spots in D-14. Anyone have any experience hunting deer in D-14? Thinking about getting a tag.

              there are deer there but lots of people to go with it. i took my first deer there many years ago. haven't been back in at least 10 years now. again too many people.

                      Those Deer will weigh in at about 75-100 lbs and be riddled with Ticks for the most part.

                          i asked the same question so ive been hiking and scouting. seen lots of mulies ~100-150lbs, there are deer there. there are usually a fair amount of hunters during season. careful for non hunters. and get ready to hike.

                          one last thing, deer seem to love those manzanita berries when they come round. check for scat and broken off twigs near/around them

                              I hunt D14 every year. There's deer here, but it's work getting them.
