    .17 HMR hunting.

I live in Rancho Cucamonga and Ive been wondering where can I go hunting for some rabbits and ground squirrels around here with my .17HMR?? Up by the Lytle Creek shooting range is a possibility but I dont think lead ammo is legal up there for hunting is it?? Im hoping to use some BLM land or something. It's not like Im looking for prime Deer habitat or anything, just want some squirrels and maybe rabbits. Any info you guys could shoot my way would be greatly appreciated.

West side of I-15, north of the I-10 is no lead zone. Most of that area is shotgun, but there are some rifle areas mixed in. Click on the link in my signature for the SBCo Shooting map.
