Sturgeon still bit'n!!

So I dont have a picture yet, buy my dad went to the sac river and reported that they got a 8.6 foot White sturgeon!! They also got a 6 footer Green Sturgeon and a 5 footer White Sturgeon. Crazyness!!

Too bad they can only keep the 5 footer. Dang I miss living in sac! haha

In two months I will be up in OR fishing for them... Good for your dad thats a good day of fishing right there....

I've done a lot of sturgeon fishing in the delta and haven't scored a green sturgeon......tell your dad congrats. I know you can't keep the green's but I wonder if they are as good as the whites...I would assume yes.

Someone once asked my dad when sturgeon season was.

He just said, "Season? They bite year-round!"

Nice! Miss fishing the sac river for sturgeon. Used to get them all the time out in Rio Vista and down by Freeport in sac. I've never seen a green before too in person.
