Can I hunt with these bullets in CA?

Hi guys, quick questions, can I use Hornady XTP hallow points to load for hunting rounds in CA? I have a few boxes of 158 gr XTPs lying around. I remember seeing something about lead free bullets and hunting in CA. Thanks

Lead free pertains to if you are in the Condor zone.

Lead free only in the condor zone which is basically San Jose and south. Im sure someone will put a map or for you or you can go up to the stickied threads and find it in the F&G regulations.

The XTP's are not lead free, they are a lead jacketed bullet.
        The condors will die.
It's funny to me that the tree huggers claim it's the gut piles
where the condors are getting the poison pill.
It's a lot of BS. I don't know many people who gut shoot prey and if they
        do, it's a 100% pass through. -g

Why? If you are in the bay area all ya gotta do is hunt north instead of south.

Up in Chino Hill, CA there are all these toxic ponds that the gov't is supposedly cleaning up from weapons testing during Cold War. 20 years later stuff is still there and any animal can wander in and take a sip of this stuff. The part that really irks me is all the money spent on Security Commandos to keep people out.

101 is the divider line in santa clara county. East of 101 is lead free, west of 101 isn't. I guess the condors are afraid to fly over 101. WEST SIDE!!!!
