Hunting in the OC?

I had cabin fever this weekend and decided on a drive with the wife. I found a guy up in one of the canyons here with his AR and camo face paint. I was wondering how the coyote hunting is up there? We were in the Cleavland National Forest so I assume it's legal?

Hunting in CNF is legal, but meager. Too many people, private lands and heavy brush

However, cougar hunting in OC can be pretty good.


Especially around Corona del Mar

Yeah, check out Banderas right before sunset...if you strike out, the beef ribs are excellent! Lol.
