Just got my Hunter Education Certificate!

Today at Livermore-Pleasanton Rod & Gun Club I got my hunter education certificate thanks to the good folks there, Pretty much went straight to Doms in Livermore and got my hunting license as well as upland game tags ready for Turkey season.

Seriously happy to tick this box off of my list! now I just have to be patient when the time comes to bag that bird! (not to mention a few Jack rabbits at the same time!)

I received my hunters education certificate a week ago too. But, the instructer never coverd or mentioned anything on where to hunt. So, I have a license to hunt but where?

California has the most public hunting land of any state Ive ever been to. Buy some BLM and National Forest maps and start doing your research. Places to hunt will cost you tons of windshield time and boot leather if you want to be successful. Get out there and have fun!

Do you even know that hunting license expires on June 30 every year? so if you don't go out and hunt before June 30 then you just wasted $44.00!

You mean $44 well spent. Plenty of time left to work on squirrels, Turkeys, Jack Rabbits, and Coyotes.
