    Best Coyote/Turkey Hunting Vest?

    Greetings:

What vest with seat attached are good for hunting coyotes? I have looked at all the turkey vest model. My head is spinning reading all the reviews.

I will use the vest in S. CA to hunt coyotes and possibly turkey.

Any turkey vest will work...not moving and working the wind is far more important than your vest.
Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000.
The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.

      BC:

I am looking for a Turkey vest w seat that is easy to hike with. Some of the vests I have tried on at the sporting goods stores feel like they would inhibit walking with the seat.

I would suggest one that has suspender type straps instead of a design with shoulders like a regular non-hunting vest. I've found that during spring turkey season just the vest style that I have is like wearing an additional layer of clothing and I can bake. I got one a few years ago that I think is a primos or something with a NWTF patch on the shoulder. I think the patch is stupid but it's got a killer seat which is about 2" of dense foam that utilizes 2 snap buckles to hold it off your calves/thighs when it's time to go. You may be able to find one like that. It was around $60.

I just bring a cushion. Sometimes (when it's warm and dry) I don't even take that. Less is more when pred hunting. I used to bring a caller, decoy, scents, chair...I was stupid. This one is $22. and what I have: http://www.fleetfarm.com/catalog/pro...2442DB15CDC661

I was given a predator vest for Christmas from turners. Not sure of the brand or price but Ive had no problems hiking with it. It has a lot of pocket space and the seat is held up with a magnet. Really easy to put it back up without having to take the vest off.
