That's awesome! I had a buddy that caught a large mouth about that size and raised him in his aquarium till he go to be 5 lbs or so. Found him dead on the floor after he decided to jump out of the tank!

All my fishing photos are pre-digital vintage 1980's. StratORcaster, those are nice yellowfin, north or south of the border? I used to deliver yachts down to Mexico in the fall and bring them back then up to Canada and AK in summer. We'ld fish the 100 fathom line off Mag Bay in Baja. Most of the yellowfin we caught were the size of large footballs. These were a kick on an ocean fly rod. Usually got spooled and would have to break them off since we were fishing from 60' boats and couldn't chase them around.

My favorite fish were wahoo (Ono). One of the fastest fish in the ocean that can really make your gear heat up quick. No fly rod here...40# test and braided steel leaders for the sharp teeth.

I'll see if I can figure out how to scan some old photos with my new computer and old scanner if this thread gets traction. I have a cool tail dancing striped marlin photo framed.

Is that the back harbor pre or post tsunami. I went to a memorial service at the SCYC the day after that and they were just getting started cleaning up.

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000.
The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.
