What do you perfer to hunt boar?

Often that weapon is a Mauser Custom 45-70 Govt. Lotsa of variety ammo choices (even BP) and just plain romantic. It sent this 2009lb bull flying head over tail.

Boar spear and a loin cloth, works every time.

Step out in front of the boar in the loin cloth and while it alternates between retching and laughing I walk up and stab it to death.

Usually they thank me for killing them so they can no longer see me in a loin cloth.

saw a film of a guy knock over a grizzly the size of a small car with the Custom Alaska co pilot rifle based on 45-70 w/ custom load.

45-70 has a lot of knock down power but is not the best choice for longer ranges it is more of a brush gun.

That's exactly right. Beyond 250 yards (even using http://www.buffalobore.com/index.php...t_detail&p=155) you are gonna need hours of practice and a BDC scope. Rainbow shooting ain't for everyone but it does have its charm.

I use a Winchester 94 30-30 what do you guys use??

I use my ninja camo and a K-Bar.









If that doesn't work, I use my M1A for backup.
