Whats your Favorite Dove Load?

Whats your favorite brand (including shot size, shell size, velocity etc) of Dove load?

I usually buy a couple of cases of the Federal that go on sale at Turners right around now, if they are out I get Winchester. I just don't have much time for loading shotgun these days. Though I am looking for some info on loading Buck shot, I recently acquired a bag of the largest shot I have ever seen, so large I have not been able any data that pertains to shot of this size.

Old bag of Lawrence brand. .455 dia.
0000? 00000? This is not round ball, way too hard and the bag came sealed and marked as Buckshot

it is not the shot size that you need to worry about but its the weighthow much fit in a shell 1 1/2 oz 1 1/4 oz that is all you should need to worry about i load different shells all the time. buck mixed with bird or bird mixed with .22 ballastic tips. as long as you lnow the weight thats all you need

oh for a dove load i shoot 1 1/8 ounce #8 at 1175 in a winchester AA hull with a claybuster wad and red dot powder

I usually buy whatever that is on sale. #7 1/2 or 8 shots.

7.5 shot from wallyworld. It is usually Federal or Remington, whichever is left in stock. That would be in 20g. It does not take a whole lot to drop them.

Double AA shell. CCI 109 primer. Mec 32 Bushing of Dupont 700x. Winchester White wad. 1 oz of 8 1/2 lead shot. 8 point crimp. Good to go 1500 FPS.

My concern is that with shot this big they may become wedged in the barrel.

It depends if you are a really good shot or a bad one like me. If your good then get the cheapest $4 a box stuff you can find. But if you need all the help in the world then these work great;
