In NV that's somewhere I'd be taking some hounds to work.

You just had to put that Jaws music on there didn't you? 2 things that freak me out bad. Bad motorscooters them big cats.

On the video quality, YT loads a low rez version of your videos before they are done rendering a hi rez version. Take a look 2-10 hours later at your videos and the quality should be a lot better. I can usually see the difference in an hour, depends on time of day and how busy their servers are.

Where was this? Never seen one in the wild. I think they are sneaky - like all cats are.

That was a good size cat. I am more jumpy about Cats hunting in the pre dawn mornings than anything. When I am stalking, or heading to a spot, I am always looking up in trees, and behind me every 50 or so yards.

I know the chances are slim, I just can't shake the need to be careful.

Bout 10 years a buddy and me were turkey hunting a ridge in San Diego on a foggy morning. He'd been calling for about 1/2 hour when he heard toenails coming down the bark on a tree about 20 yards from him. He thought it was a squirrel until a cougar jumped off the tree trunk and ran away. That cat had be watching and listening to him the whole time.

So he tells me the story later so the next day I moved to another spot, I didn't want no part of that cat. It was foggy again that morning and as the fog moved in and out a I see something creeping toward me about 70 yards out. At first I thought it was my mind playing with me but when whatever it was got to 50 yards I knew something was stalking me. I clicked the safety off and swung the shotgun around just in case. At 40 yards I still couldn't see clearly what it was, it looked like the bushes were moving but the fog kept obscuring it. At 30 yards I started hollering and out popped this guy with a ghillie on. WTH?

Sweet jeebus, he was a Marine from Pendleton who was stalking my calling. He was all proud of his ghillie but I don't think he realized how spooked I was in that fog that day.
