Also...when you have it away from you you have less chance of being busted by the yotes.
One thing I have learned hunting coyotes....all my expensive,fancy camo is worthless. Coyotes see motion REALLY well. And they rely on their sense of smell heavily. I don't think they see color...or at least like humans do.

^^ This ^^ I set mine up 75~150yds. As long as there is line of sight, the Foxpro remote works fine over 200yds.

I think my most embarrasing "Dohhh" mistake this year was spooking a nice buck in North Dakota when I flipped my safety off. I tried to be quiet but man things are loud when its snowing. It was my first time hunting with the Father in law and brother in law.
I got a smaller buck the next day.
