Do you really want people to post their super secret best hunting spots that took them years of hard work and scouting to find?????? I suggest either starting out paid clubs, state refuges, etc. and then, start scouting your own spots on other public lands. Once you find some really productive spots, don't forget to come back here and post them for all to see.

For big game, start by hitting your local BLM office. Get all the BLM maps you can get for your area, and ask them for some info on the area. Then do the same at a ranger station, getting all the maps you can for the surrounding National Forest. Then it's on you to get out there and burn some boot leather.

Tons of pigs and turkeys on Mt Diablo, but like most places in this state it is mostly private ground........you have to know someone. We shot 12 pigs in the last couple of weeks with a predation permit. Turkeys are so thick no one can keep a garden. Most of the time in this state.......you higher someone that has access.
