    Electronic predator caller recommendations?

Hey guys I'm looking to get an electronic caller for coyote hunting and don't really know where to start/what to look for. Ideally I'd like to keep the cost as low as possible since I've been dropping most of my money on guns lately but I still want a nice one that works well and won't fail on me.

Just wanted to see what you guys recommend since there seems to be alot of knowledge on the subject here. Thanks alot for your time and help I really appreciate it.

I'm a bit biased so I'll keep my opinion out of the ring, but when you are ready for a FoxPro just drop me a line and I'll be sure to take care of you with whatever unit you want.

      Go Foxpro.
Ive got a SLIGHTLY used Scorpion for sale with a few extras.
If you want a slightly used e-caller package, let me know.
If youre looking for new, hit up Soreloser, as he's got connections for Foxpros.

The XR6 is $300. But what you get is very basic. Batter to spend a little more to get something better. Holds 16 calls.

Wow those all seem really nice but I wasn't really planning on spending that much for a call. Is the XR6 decent? Worth the $300? because that's about the most I'm really able to spend right now. Any cheaper choices out there that are still even worth buying?

One of the guys I went hunting with had a Johnny Stewart e-call, and it brought in one yote. Have to say, though, that my FoxPro FX3 looks like a much higher quality set-up. We've already called in a few yotes with it. The JS set-up almost looked like the guy threw it together in his garage.

I have a foxpro as well. I've used several different brands of callers but settled on my foxpro scorpian. Most ecallers will run about the same price, however, you can pick up some handcalls for 10 to 20 bucks a pop, some even come with videos! Get yourself a couple handcalls and get practicing. Make sure to pick up at least 1 open reed and one closed reed call so you can figure out which type you like best.

                          Have fun!

For $1500 you get to rent soreloser. He does require the occasional feeding and you can't just leave him in a cubbard in the garage like your e-caller.
