I'll be out in dixon Friday evening. Buddy says theres a ****ton of dove in the orchard. It'll be cold in the morning so probably a good thing I cant make it till the afternoon.
First year I won't be bringing my dog, hes just too old and will hurt himself if I bring him.....won't be the same without him

Ill be out deer and pig hunting but will have my shotgun with me in the truck just in case I find a good field.

Gotta work tomorrow, going Saturday morning. Hope my spot isn't shot out. Without me there to run people off it gets pretty crowded, damn poachers. There are a handful of people allowed to hunt it but with opening day being a Friday, there will be campers on the spot. Aholes come from San Jose and literally set up their RVs on my land and hunt it. The land is posted even. Others come in early, park in the orchard, often on the nuts we have laying on the ground drying. Had groups show up by the carload, men set up to shoot, women spread blankets on the ground with the kids like it's a picnic in a park.

It's a very good spot and everyone and his brother thinks he can use it. This is a working farm. I've got the local wardens cell phone ready to call if there is a problem.

Limits for 6 by 8. Found a decent spot loaded with white wing. Lots of pressure and a bunch of retards who think it’s Yuma.
