Was up at the State Duck Calling Competition in Colusa yesterday with my son and his hunting buddy and we ran into Beau Brooks at Kittle’s Outdoor & Sport across the street from Veterans Memorial Park where the duck calling competition was going on.
Very nice guy, took the time to talk with everyone that approached him shaking hands, asking their names and answering questions. He said he was over in Point Reyes for the past few days watching and listening to the elk herds, he was at Kittle’s and the calling competition as a Sitka ambassador.
Fun time in Colusa if you’ve never been, the duck calling competition wraps up this afternoon, Kittle’s is one of the sponsors and always has a sale during the competition. Kittle’s is our go-to place for duck hunting ammo and we load up for the season when we’re there, all the factory gun reps are there too and a lot of gear is marked down.
