Got that buck but MAN this was the hardest hunt overall for me in years. I'm used to having buddies around.
Something I learned this year. Keep an eye on your battery life of your vehicles. Keep a come along in the rig. This saved me some serious issue this year with a dead battery on the side by side. Make sure you have either Sat, CB or walkie talkies in phone dead zones. I hunted alone this year successfully but still paying for it. Ever drag 1200 pounds of dead weight with a come along into the back of a lifted truck? I don't want to do this again. I had a gen but couldn't get the plate off for the battery to jump. I now use hand tools to tighten. Use the tools you will have in the field to do maint on your rigs as that is what you will have.
