They'll mail them to you. Put a twist tie in the envelope so you have one to attach the tag with when you get your goats.

You have to go online and purchase the conservation tag and print it out yourself. Put that in the envelope with the tags so you don't forget it.

And your hunters safety. They require it to be with you if you are not exempt.

Only need card if a child(LOL) If born before certain date not required T. If born after 1966 hunter safety required in Wyoming.

You'd be surprised. I was able to get a new version of my card based on when I took it in 1983 or so. They were able to find the registry of it, see me signed in and sent me a new card.

No idea what you said there. Born after jan 1, 1966 and you need proof which is what I think you said in your last sentence.

I basically have the same problem. Card lost many years ago. CDFW does not even have my #, just shows as previous hunting license.

Looks like a DD-214 will work

                    Proof of Hunter Safety

Except as otherwise provided, no person born on or after January 1, 1966, may take wildlife by the use of firearms on land other than that of his own family, unless that person can demonstrate they have obtained a certificate of competency and safety in the use and handling of firearms.
Attendance and successful completion of a hunter safety course offered by an association or governmental agency approved by the Commission satisfies the requirements of this section.

Hunter safety exemption applications are available at the Cheyenne Headquarters and Department Regional Offices. This hunter safety exemption is not valid for those elk hunting within Grand Teton National Park (Hunt Areas 75 and 79), or for those participating in the Hunter Mentor Program.
A person who has not received a certificate of competency and safety in the use of handling firearms may apply to the Department for a special authorization to take wildlife with the use of a firearm while being accompanied by a person who is at least 18 years old, acting as a mentor, who possesses or can demonstrate he has successfully completed a hunter safety course and who possesses a valid Wyoming hunting license.
A special authorization issued to an individual shall be valid for one (1) year from the date of issue and shall be in the possession of the recipient at all times while in the field. The application process may be completed on the Department website. A mentor shall not provide supervision for more than one (1) person, other than immediate family members, at a time in the field and shall accompany the mentee at all times to provide constant supervision.

Glad that will work out T. Yes you were born to late for waiver. Be sure and check if dd214 will work. At least you will be OK in Texas.

A question for WY G&F. Worth a call.
If your CDL has veteran designation, will they accept it as Proof of Hunter Safety?
