    We use to shoot from the side of the road far enough to be off the backset, Pope Canyon Road, you need to see what kind of neighbors you would have. As far as I know Napa County goes by the state law. Call the sheriff and ask.

      Your only problem your going to have is if you have democrat neighbors that decide to make your life miserable. As far as Napa SO up there I had a buddy that worked patrol up there and I drive through there a lot and get caught at road closures for fires or mud slides in winter. Every deputy I've met so far in that area has been a gun or hunting guy and a good dude.
