Good stuff, I got a nice tiger Rod that is a tuna stick just recently. I'm using it for a lightweight sturgeon Rod trying to catch some medium size 7 to 8 foot white sturgeon here on the Snake River. I like the fact that it has a really nice like tip and a really heavy spine which is just about perfect other than the length. People like really long 10 and 13 foot rods for sturgeon here and I've just never liked them that heavy. I tend to like an 8-foot maybe eight and a half foot rod for sturgeon as I can get some more effective leverage pulling them in.

      A truly underrated rod.

Soft tip, plenty of butt, inexpensive.....if i was trying to buy an outfit for under $100, begging a loaner or teaching someone to cast a tiger and a jigmaster would do just fine.

Caught so many fish with it that I use it more than my expensive Seekers and Sabres. It was time for an upgrade. Put a new layer of cork tape over the worn one, and replaced the cheap unbraced plated guides with braced stainless ones. For another $25 its now ready to go for this season.

Its really cool that SquidCo sells the 2 part rod polymer in a kit with everything you actually need. Syringes to get the mix exactly 50/50, mixing cups and stirring sticks, application brushes. I bought the kit enough to do 3 rods. Now like having extra AR parts I'm going to surely come up with more builds.

I almost have as many fishing rigs as guns ..... almost.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

For the Rods or the Guns?

I have an excuse for the Rods - used to have boat and kept enough gear to let 4 people fish.

The guns - I got nothing - except maybe they go up in value though some more than others.
