another thread on this. I stopped applying no draws for many apps. Lots of people with same results.

People lie just to troll. Keep applying. What refuges are you putting in at? I drew at #1 at LDC on a wednesday for 12/2/2015 and have the color ressie letter printed out and intend to frame it, but like I said people lie.

To be honest outside of opening day its going to suck **** until we get some weather outside of a top draw and mosquitoes will kill you. The draws you want are mid-december until the end of the season. That's when you can draw a top 5 at Sac and invite me.

The online draw system made it much easier to put in for draws. As a result, it increased the number of draw applications submitted. With the increase in applications submitted, comes a decrease in the odds you will get drawn.


Most of the Facebook/forum posts saying they got #1 or #2 are not real. Either somebody trying to get free info or just messing with the other guys.

If you want to know your odds for a particular refuge, take a look at the reservation stats on the CDFW website. Link is below.

Yep, that's why I only put in for opening 2 weekends and then nothing until late November.

Anyway, I solved the problem and got a lease on my own duck blind.

According to that I should have had about 5 San Jacinto draws in my past but I'm 0 for five years.
