    Caught my first cutthroat

Caught my first cutthroat trout this morning. Spent the weekend fishing the palisades reservoir on the Snake river south fork. Pretty good fighter for being so small, so i put him back to fight another day....

    Nice little fish.

I too try to let the little ones go. Hopefully to catch them after they grow to monsters!
    Sorry, not sorry.

One of my favorite fish to catch, especially sea-run cutts. They fight so much harder than rainbows.

Nice catch there '44. How's the water look coming out of the dam? Love the Palisades area. Be up there in July.

It's beautiful and the water's cold. Only a few drift boats below the dam, but it rained alot last week.

My dad's gonna spend July here too. I'm taking him fishing in palisades and on the Blackfoot. (Or down the street to Ryder pond if he is lazy)

I hear Blackfoot has been hitting pretty good lately. On the other hand, Henry's Lake not so good? We'll see.

I hear Henry's lake had a terrible opener, and guys I work with that fish there aren't happy for what it's supposed to be like by now...

Yeah, hear that. I'll be in Rigby next month, so, Blackfoot and probably American Falls Res.
