As for Mathews' seminars, yet another reason to spend my time and money out of state. Does anyone actually scout and hunt anymore? That used to be the challenge and satisfaction - not to mention the point of hunting.

Or has it all come down to just having somebody tell you where to stand and shoot whatever comes by?

Problem is most people in California have no clue about hunting. Like myself. I didnt start until I was 25. I had no clue where to go, where was legal, where to look. At least this gives people some info. Also it gives you guzzler, seep, spring locations. I'm not sure if you've ever been to the MNP but finding water is key, and not always easy to do in the desert.

These classes give people a jumping off point, and I am grateful for it.
