Accurate Lightweight Rifle?

Don't you remember when you were a kid and your dad or grandfather handed you a Winchester 30-30 and you thought that you had died and gone to heaven? Guns have become like cars and trucks. There's a million of them and everyone has different needs and wants, so one gun doesn't work for all. Find the one that works for you and be happy. As someone stated previously, just about all bolt guns, regardless of price, will get the job done.

Very well put. I'd add one more thing: a reliable rifle that shoots straight is important, but the shooter is a lot more important. The best rifle money can buy won't turn a poor shooter into an expert marksman. When money is an object, and it is for most of us, spending more on ammunition so you can practice is more important than spending it on a rifle with little or nothing left over to practice.

I’m just smart with my money and buy when i see specials. 399 for a standard blued version that you are trying to sell fot 500 doesn’t mean I have a Tasco.
Btw I have a monarch and vx3 on my tikkas.
So yes, you have a very hard time understanding when I tell you to read my first post where I mention I like to carry tikka over CZ or sauer in the field.

I never said we have the cheaper rifle you are talking about. CZs are actuall a pretty nice rifle.

No. I’ve help a few folks when it comes to hunting. Some are experienced, some are just getting started.

I don’t help those who don’t want to learn. Those folks make a lot of noise, stir up nonsensical conversations, and really don’t want to learn.

Once people in this forum figure certain people out, they won’t help them either. You don’t want to be one of those people.

You want me to list my rifles? Which one of my 5 safes do you want me to start with??? Let’s just say to put your question to rest, I have an 1894 Winchester in 30-30, and a Falkor Petra in 300 win mag and everything in between. My deer rifle is a Winchester Model 70. I’ve been using it for 25 years now. It’s the only deer rifle I use.
