I read this yesterday. I wonder how many days it will take before another cooler company creates ties with the NRA? Probably not long. I'm in the market for several coolers similar to YETI. I guess I know which one I won't be buying.

I bought the RTIC after my son-in-law got the yeti and found out the RTIC is just as good with better features and a lower price. They are a on-line company and that cuts out the middleman. I now have a RTIC cooler which works great in side to side comparison with the yeti on hunting trips. I also have 2 different sizes of their tumblers and a can holder. All work great. The best part is they did not stab sportsmen/woman in the back.

Who does yeti think buys their over priced product? Certainly not tree-huggers, anti-firearms, anti-hunting, anti-fishing vegans hauling home their catch of fruits and nuts and the trophy head of lettuce!

Buy RTIC and you will be very happy and not support a company taken over by libtards/tree-huggers/anti-sportsman
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

Get a Canyon Cooler, better features than both and lifetime warranty. Mine sustained some damage last week, took a picture and sent it in, they are sending me a brand new one with return postage.

Rtic makes good stuff. Yeti got pissed that Buccees was selling both and told them they couldn't sell both rtic and Yeti. So buccees told them to eff off and now carries rtic in all their stores.

Ha! well now I have two reasons not to buy them, anti-2a and I don't feel like taking out a second mortgage to buy an ice chest.

Cabela's sells a Yeti equivalent under their own brand name. I don't think they're going anti-NRA anytime soon! Oh and needless to say, they are more affordably priced as well.

Yeti put out a statement that this was FAKE NEWS. It appears to have been reported by an individual NRA member not the NRA itself. Yeti states they removed an outdated blanket discount policy across the board (NRA fell into this removal) BUT an alternative discount policy was offered.

I got the yeti response and it had a lot of smokescreen double talk. Unless they sue the NRA and win I would believe the NRA post that was not just from one person. They used the term outdated programs and it looks like the NRA is considered an outdated program to them. Just saying.

I am not sure this is correct but I heard that a group in NYC took over management and that would be a bunch of libtard, anti's then. That would make what the NRA said true also.

Why would waterfern even be on this site when he/she is so anti to start with and out of touch with the firearm culture??? Isn't there some libtard democrap site he would feel better on???

I was looking to get the rtic but they didn’t have 55 on hand/sold out. Needed a cooler for this last weekend.
I got a lifetime cooler from Walmart for 97$ and it’s a heavy duty. Held 1 bag of ice all weekend in the car while we are coachella music fest. Put the bag in on Friday and by Sunday afternoon it was mostly water. Sitting in a car with 90s all weekedn.
Check out the Lifetime 55 Quart High Performance Cooler model 90949. Order directly from the manufacturer and receive free shipping at www.lifetime.com.

                        Glad I didn’t buy a yeti
Also heard good things and value about ozark coolers

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

I have the 60Q - keeps ice as well or better than the Yeti equivalent. Even has an air purge valve and rubber gasket on the lid. Great price and they make a dolly cart to assist in transporting.

Holy crap FishnHunt - That lifetime cooler looks solid and 55l for $129?? Might have to get one for the boat...

Turner's no longer advertise any Yeti products on their website. Just Pelican.
