Great deal on Owner Hook Party Packs at the San Diego Tackle Traders Booth, $19 OTD for 3/0 ringed flyliners.

Also sunk it in the AVET casting pond contest. With some luck maybe a new reel coming my way!

There was a line of people waiting outside in the rain to buy tickets when I left today. Buy your tickets online, and avoid the line.

Hey, there's a tip for you

I went about two years ago to the Fred Hall event in Long Beach. I thought that show just sucked. Total waste of time. There wasn’t anything there really that was of interest. You’re better off going to Bass Pro instead.

I'm getting closer to getting my wish from Owner:

Ringed offshore hooks in pro packs. The OC rep, Jimmy from Longfin, informed me that my annual FHS whining ritual at the Owner booth may be working.

Bummer you feel that way. I drive 3 hours to Sac and fly down to spend 2 days at the show. No where else can you go from on manufacture booth to another and see whats new and talk to the guys that make the product.
