If the animals are going to eat lead weights what's to stop them from eating weights made from other materials? Of course lead weights are going to kill them; they can't swim/fly/run when they are weighted down. The same physics will apply. Do our politician just spend their time trying to find something to ban??? They sure don't spend any time thinking.

Why don't they just cut to the chase and ban hunting and fishing under what ever the cause of the day is? Humanitarian or environmental.

Entomology wise most insecticides are ineffective due to their bans.

Ban O2, it supports combustion, thus will save our forests and grasslands.
