    Sequoia Forest Fishing?

I'm heading up to Sequoia Nat Forest to do some small game hunting the first week of January and I've never been there. I was going to just park my truck at a head and venture out for a couple days. I know I'm getting a tenkara fly rod for Xmas so I was wondering if anyone knows of fishing opportunities in the Nat Forest (would like to switch back and forth with hunting), not the Park.

    (I have never been there)

As far as I know, stream fishing in California is closed. That leaves lakes only.

Yeah I've Googled what I can and been to those pages already, thanks. Just seeing if anyone has the names of a couple spots that could be lake-fishable.

I've never been there either but as far as I know this information is incorrect as I went river fishing last weekend. See below for info on Kern River...
