    Anybody hunt around Menifee?

Just wondering if I should get my hopes up. An uncle of mine is a big farmer in that region and my cousin, who runs the operation, gave me access to a 700 acre parcel to the southwest of Domenigoni and 79.

I plan on heading out there on Nov. 11 after I get back from my pheasant trip in South Dakota. Hopefully I can make it out this Saturday morning to scout it out, but just wondering if any of you have experience in that area.

Rabbit and coyotes will be there. Might be able to find some birds in or near the fields if they are planted.

I will call some yotes with you and harvest some rabbits too! There is water so there might be some deer???

Go out to the end of Sage Road, look east, south, and west for public lands.

The Domenigoni family has the only decent parcel in that area to hunt rabbits and maybe a few coyotes on. But even then its very small and surrounded by private occupied land.

Sage Road is all private land or Habitat Conservancy owned.

I was hoping for some upland for when dove season opens up next month. I will probably still head out there this weekend to check it out.

The south end of Sage Road, not the Hemit side, I won't be specific, use the tools in my "Hunting Research" topic.

We are talking about the same area. There is a small BLM section, not worth the drive out there. The larger areas are owned by Conservancy Authority.
