Bird dog boots and vests

I've got a couple 1st year hunting GSP's and we will be hunting the Mojave National Preserve for quail. Anyone hunt there with dogs? And if so, you use dog boots and or vests for protection?

Thanks. It has been. Last year was the worst. The previous years there has been very large coveys in my spot. But without dogs it was still tough.

I dont use them but used to work retail at a place that sold RUFFwear. Well made dog stuff, i do use their PFDs

OP - we had to put our dog to sleep several months ago. I've got a near new set of 4 RUFFWEAR boots I'll let go for a real good price. Cody was a medium sized Golden Retriever, and the boots fit him nicely.
