Very interesting pro-hunting pro-conservation piece in the NYT today. I read it waiting for the anti point of view but it never came. Huh.

But quite frankly, the NYT has been relatively balanced (for a very blue newspaper) on hunting articles in the past. A lot of their readership, not so much. There have been more than a few pro hunting articles.

Nice Ram, and once in a lifetime hunt, for sure ! Sure looks like (has to be) a lot more than 100 lbs. of meat by the looks of that last picture. That thing looks as big as some moose !!! How could 2 guys pack out all the meat, the head, and the cape in one trip? His buddy hiked 10 hrs to get to him before the shot, the article says.

Not necessarily doubting it, just trying to understand ....
