    Good deals on hunting ammo

With the internet ban being less than 11 months away I figure we should keep our own "great internet deals" for hunting ammo since after January 1st you will be SOL unless you navigate the "ammo ffl transfer" circus.

So if you find a great deal on hunting ammo post it here please We shall see how well this experiment goes.

About the best prices on duck loads that you will find consistently is Rogers Sporting Goods. I also bought some hevi shot turkey loads from them last year.

Rogers Sporting Goods, founded in 1980, is a family-owned store that offers the best in waterfowl, hunting, shooting and outdoor gear. Browse the vast selection of everything you need to enjoy the great outdoors.

Fed Speed Shok - $99 a case with free shipping (this is a pretty common price on here)
All the steel & non-toxic waterfowl ammo you need from your favorite brands Federal, Winchester, Hevishot, Browning, Estate, Rio, Remington, Kent, Fiocchi and more. Always the best prices and free shipping from Rogers Sporting Goods when you spend $99 or more... If you are looking for alternative non-toxic loads checkout our Bismuth & Tungsten Waterfowl Loads.

Herters Steel (BB, #1, and #3) - $89.99 a case. Shipping is $5 with current Cabelas coupon codes

Thanks for starting this thread. I usually get a case of duck loads and a case of goose loads every year from Roger's. Free shipping and rebates. I'll get as much as I can this year. It sucks because I know I'm going to pay a lot more for ammo in the future. Don't forget about getting some loads for clays!

Good point on loads for clays. Hopefully we'll still be good on lead for clay's of any sort after 2019. I only say this as, well, you never know here in Ca.

i have been buying an extra flat every time i order for the last 6+ months to stash away. I love ordering from cabelas. gets here pretty quick, good price, tax free and they often have cheap, flat rate shipping.

i would be interested in doing a group buy with some bay area people for target loads if we can get a good deal. for a large order like that we would likely have to contact vendors for quotes and might have to ship the order to a business.

If you have a Dick's sporting goods in your area, keep an eye open for their sales flyer. They offer Remington Gun Clubs and Federal Top Gun target loads for $52.90 a case from time to time WITH NO LIMIT.

They alternate between the two brands so if you like one over the other, wait until the next week.

To reduce the per round cost at Cabela's, buy some 20% off gift cards and use them at the next sale:

$50 gift cards for $40 = extra 20% off! I used some of these at their recent 10% + free shipping sale.
Its an expensive hobby, but more expensive when you try and convince yourself you don't need what you really want.
