Thank you for the complement Frank. I was very happy with the animals we harvested. And I look forward to going back. I need to get a Buff that's bigger than my fathers. We are very competive. LOL. But it was a blast watching him get his first Buff.

The Buff was the only animal we didn't eat. A 9 year old Buff would be like eating the rubber sole of a combat boot. But the Kudu Spagitti, Bles Buck Stew and Impala Steaks were absultly amazing! They were not gamey like a pacific black tail or wild pig. It was somewhat sweet and really rich in flavor. I will say it was an experience of a life time.

7 shots with a 375 Holland & Holland and 5 shots with a 300 win mag. One strong bull!

Still a lifetime goal. Hopefully before I am 45, so that gives me 8 years.

Why the camo though? I thought some African countries had camo as a big no no, especially military patterns?

We ate my 12 year old bull and the tenderloins were very good. Not gamey at all.

That's the weird part. The friend of the family said we need to bring camo, so we did. The PH said it wasn't necessay. A couple of the game ranch owners said it helps. And when I got back I had friends that served say that we were crazy wearing military camo. I don't know if it is legal or illegal, but boy did the locals give us a lot of good and bad looks.

Next year when I go back to get my bull, I'm going to request trying Buff. If it is as good as you say it is or as good as what we had on our first trip, I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

No, I'm not a good shot, but I shoot often.
