Caught these at 1 mile buoy in Santa Cruz.
I also caught three Blue Lings that were just under limit. And also caught 5 canary rocks that we let go immediately.

I love it up there. lots of public land. there are big deer in that zone. the weather just has to be cool enough. it hasn't been the last two times I have been there.

yeah he broke it falling off the rock face. he was in a small valley I shot him from the base of the mountain. I dragged all the way down from where I took him. It actually knocked him out from the shot and the fall. he got up again when I got about 25 yards from him. I saw him fall and not get up. I couldn't see him since he fell in the bushes I took the picture of him in.

Fourth picture (from left to right) Remington 700 VTR in 308, LR-308, and Rem 700 308. The best part is we all shot at the same time and dropped all 3 pigs.
Fifth picture was with a Henry chambered in 357. He picked it up that day and got his pig with it later that night!
That must have been an awesome sight to drop all 3 at the same time.

Just got a Rem700 in 7mmMag. Heading out on a Hog hunt in Nov.
