    Skull Cleaning

What's the over/under on how long this'll take? I pulled it out of the freezer after a year+, so it's got some freezer burn.

I had a buddy with dermestid beetles, but he gave it up a while back. I'm not in a hurry.

FWIW, the ravens don't seem to want to land inside my little anti-coyote cage - the diameter is apparently too small.

I would think that getting a propane fired disposal barrel and boiling water would be your best option. Just boil everything off.

Just bury it in the ground with a little gangland vanishing cream (powdered lime) for a few weeks. Should make short work of it.....always seems to work for Guido

I buried this grey fox skull, with everything but the skin on it, for 2 months in my front yard. Bugs picked it clean. I boiled it in peroxide and water to whiten it up.

I've used the burial method and boiling. I will bury coyote heads, etc...stuff that I am not too worried about should some critters get to it. For deer heads, bear heads, etc (things I really want), I boil them. After it's mostly fleshed out, dry the detergent The Biz. Soak it in that for a few days, and the skull will be whiter and any remaining flesh will come right off. After seeing what The Biz does to skull and flesh, I can't, however, recommend it for your clothes.

Boiling is faster, but make sure you boil outside. Last year, a buddy decided to boil a dear head in his kitchen. Wife came home and just about threw him out. She was not amused. LMAO ! Turned out very nice though. The Biz works well !
