Duck Hunting Wednesday

Anyone else planning getting out tomorrow? I hunt the East Side of the Grasslands near Merced, my unverified intel gathering has led me to believe that new birds have arrived in the Sacramento area and I'm hoping a few made it down our way.

Season has been slow and we had only flooded 1/2 the club for the early part, now the club is flooded and things actually look pretty good.

I drew a good North Valley refuge. Should be a good hunt as new birds are in the area. Too bad the storm for Thursday isn't coming in Wednesday am.

The Sac Valley had lots of birds over the weekend...Tule Lake turned to ice and the birds are a com'n.....Colusa had K's of geese. I'm going to give Thursday a try near Sac for geese

Lots of activity this morning, I ended up with one teal....Had a miscommunication with my blind mate and ended up letting 3 groups get out w/o a shot being fired.....Pumps are back on and I'll be out this weekend.
