This was part of the weekly BLM news feed I recieve. Sad that many would disrespect the desert and the activity we all enjoy. Do your part, if you shoot in the desert pack a bag of trash out. I try and clean up any shooting related messes I find out there although some are so large that it would take a serious crew to pick it all up.

You ought to see the Antelope valley part of LA County. No shooting allowed, but the tweekers have left a landfill amount of trash out there. It looks like a spread-out dump.

I've never seen anyone nor any officials out there cleaning any of it up. It sort of looks like LA but no sidewalks.

That really sucks. I make it a point to pick up anything I see on the ground wherever I go when practical.

Some of the 4 wheel groups will do an occasional cleanup with BLM, and maybe we should to the same.

You would need a fleet of semi's to pick up the vast amount of 50 years of trash left in the tweeker's heaven of LA County.

If the gun grabbers were smart, all they would have to do is take some teevee news crews on a tour of SoCal desert shooting spots. That would get us shut out of BLM land.

Luckily, the gun grabbers aren't very smart.
