Nevada BLM Camping - any tips?

I would like to try sleeping out in the middle of a Nevada BLM. There will be 2 couples in 2 separate 4x4s. We will be shooting all day long and would like to stay overnight to do some night shooting. Are there anything that we should be concerned about? We will camp out with no facility anywhere close by so we will bring water, food, light etc. Any tips?
