The tanker can be a coveniant carry.

But sometimes on a hike, my shirt gets drenched in sweat. Doubly so if I have a big holster across my chest. Or you may sweat just under the holster only. Heck, if it is warm enough, I sweat extra under my binos.

Plus, if you have a pistol on your chest, where are you binos gonna be?

Sorry I don't have additional information as it doesn't even have a label - very generic! The good news is that it is pretty adjustable, it fits nicely under my shoulder, and it doesn't interfere with the straps on my backpack.
have one of those types too it actually works well for hiking in the woods wit ha back pack on gun is still easy to get too without anything in the way too.

You can open carry outside city limits.*

*Long guns may be carried in unincorporated rural areas where open carry is permitted by local ordinance. In a county with a population of less than 200,000 residents, a permit to carry a handgun "loaded and exposed" may be issued by the county sheriff.

Comming soon is the A2CP Nosegunner from Eberlestock. Knowing this company it is being tested in some place like Afghanistan right now. Not bad price at $129 MSRP considering its more than just gun holster.

Eberlestock customers have been asking us for this for a long time, and its time has come! Not only is the Nosegunner a great binocular or camera chest-pack, but it's the first one ever to have a built-in holster for a handgun. We waited until this product was perfect, and we hope you agree that we got it right.

-3D mesh harness is very comfortable and ultra-breathable and can be worn under a pack

-Back panel has MOLLE webbing so you can add A3SB and hydration or other accessories.

-Pistol holster carries any semi-auto or revolver for safe carry and quick access.

-Magnetic main compartment closure makes it easy and quiet to get binos in and out

-Flanking and interior pockets for small items.

-Compatible with our APSK chest suspension kit.

            -Lifetime manufacturers warranty.

                Maybe this will work.

I have one of these for an X Frame S&W. Very, very well made and distributes weight real well.

I just carried mine in one of those mesh pockets on the side of my pack. Not very accessible to me but my buddy could get to it easy enough.

I feel safer in the woods than at home

Excellent picture illustrating the weight distributing properties.
