Hello everyone,I'm new to the AV and looking for some advice/help in locating some open desert areas to go shooting, I have seen some posts on here but they were pretty old, I want to be able to take my 2 kids out shooting different guns, Thanks in advance

If you are looking for an "open space" area in the AV area, rifle and pistol target shooting is illegal within LA county. For that, I suggest going anywhere north of Avenue A (county line) and target shoot freely in Kern county. Shotgun shooting in the desert of LA county is still legal.sigpic
