    Looking for help..

Whats up guys, i live in San Diego and i am unsure where i can go to camp/shoot safely... I did a bit of research and the Orosco shooting area is closed due to the recent fires, is the palomar divide my only option? Trying not to drive more then 2 or 3 hours, any help would be greatly appreciated, thnx!

You can camp and shoot on the BLM land in Occotillo wells. Just make sure you are not in the state park. A nice place up against the Vallicetos? Mountains to the left of the Gyp mine.
