Custom EDC beads

Anyone here into EDC beads Noblie custom or similar high-end lanyard beads? I’ve been upgrading my carry setup and thinking about adding a custom bead to my knife or flashlight lanyard. Some of these designs are seriously detailed—almost too nice to get dirty. Do they actually serve a purpose, or are they just for show? I’m looking for something that adds grip and quick access without being bulky or annoying during daily use or camping trips.
Would love some input on whether custom EDC beads are a practical addition—or just collector eye candy. What’s your experience been like?

No experience with them, but on a working lanyard I suppose it would keep the lanyard from slipping into a pocket. However, it also would draw attention to the item (knife?) attached to it. From a use perspective, anything I have on a lanyard I use by holding the item. The lanyard is free. Additional weight on the end would just cause it to swing and annoy me. It could also cause unwanted noise if it hit something while using the item.
